Korea Therapy Yoga Association (KTYA) and YO&P Membership will launch their first full-day training of 2026 with the ¡°2026 Yoga Flow Festival: Walking the Eight Limbs of Ashtanga in One Day.¡± The event will be held on January 17, 2026, from 10:00 to 18:00 at KT Daejeon Human Resources Development Center, targeting 100 yoga and Pilates teachers and studio owners across Korea. With a low participation fee that includes lunch, the festival is designed as an intensive yet accessible professional development day for working instructors.
The core concept is to experience the eight limbs of Ashtanga Yoga not as abstract philosophy, but as a lived journey linking asana, fascia and emotional release, pranayama, pratyahara, and meditation. The program reflects KTYA¡¯s integrated qualification system across yoga, therapy, meditation, and singing bowl, combined with the YO&P Membership ecosystem for ongoing specialist training.
Morning sessions are led by experienced field leaders: Kim Yang-hee, director of Ashtanga Yoga in Dongrae, Busan and chair of the KTYA Ashtanga Academy, guides an ashtanga flow practice; Jung Hyo-jin, director of Jung Hyojin Mind & Healing Yoga in Sejong and chair of the Mind Fascia Academy, leads a mind-fascia session focused on the body as an emotional map.
Afternoon sessions deepen sensory and mental work: aroma meditation with Song Young-joo, director of Soyou Therapy in Yongin Dongbaek and aroma meditation faculty for the RYTK400 course; yoga nidra with Park Young-bin, CEO of Bini Yoga & Daom Pilates in Cheongju and president of KTYA; pranayama and pratyahara with Kim Su-jin, director of Seocho Shanti Yoga and KTYA vice president and metropolitan chair; singing bowl and pratyahara with Kim Hyun-joo, director of Masan Hyunju Yoga Meditation Center and head of the Singing Bowl Healing Meditation Research Institute; and finally, a dharana–dhyana meditation flow with Ham Kyung-in, director of mita.Lab Yoga Meditation Studio in Banpo and president of the Korea Yoga Meditation Association.
The closing circle focuses on translating this one-day personal experience into concrete class designs and professional growth, aligning with YO&P¡¯s 2026 goal of strengthening yoga teachers¡¯ rights, status, and AI-era professional recognition.
